HND Dispensing Technology
Dispensing Technology is perceived to be one of the most difficult subjects in the core scientific pursuit but its incorporated findings are needed to give:
a. Multiple points of care
b. Provide adequate solution systems on patient care and enhance pharmacy technicians to reach new patients with unknown ailments.
c. New market in order to improve on patient care and enhance medication safety (all while controlling prescription costs).
The HND Dispensing Technology programme is designed to meet the demands of industry and hospital by enabling the graduates to handle minor repair works on the equipments and machines they handle as well as carry out basic quality control procedures in the hospital and industry. Graduates will be endowed with the necessary skills needed to assist in the manufacturing of drugs and pharmaceutical products, bringing real-time medication dispensing and pharmacy counseling directly to the point-of-care.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR HND DISPENSING TECHNOLOGY
SSSCE, WASSCE or Equivalent
Core subjects and minimum grades: Credits (WASSCE A1-C6/ SSSCE A-D) in three (3) subjects: English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.
Elective subjects and minimum grades: Credits (WASSCE A1-C6/ SSSCE A-D) in two (2) elective subjects in General Science: Physics, Biology and Chemistry
WASSCE: An aggregate score of Thirty Six (30) or better.
SSSCE: An aggregate score of Twenty Four (20) or better.
Mature applicants: The applicant must be at least 25 years old and must have GCE O-level or SSSCE/WASSCE passes in English and Mathematics and any two of the following; Physics, Chemistry and Biology The applicant must have relevant working experience of at least two years and is required to pass written selection examination with or without an interview.
